Where is My Desk?
At Rua Dr. Carlos Pires Felgueiras, 98, 3.º C, 4470-157 Maia, in the town centre, close to the metro and two car parks, one covered and one open-air.
Since when has My Desk existed?
We opened in January 2019.
How many desks are there?
The coworking room has 8 desks, which keeps it calm and close-knit.
Can I visit?
Yes. Book a visit through the contact form, by phone or WhatsApp.
Prices and payments
How do I pay?
By bank transfer, monthly or yearly depending on the plan. Payment details come with the contract.
Why is there no VAT?
My Desk operates under the VAT exemption scheme of article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code. The price you see is the final price.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Pay yearly and you pay the equivalent of 10 months for 12.
Can I change plan?
Yes, with 30 days' written notice. The change applies from the next renewal.
Plans and access
What is the difference between Flex Desk and Dedicated Desk?
Flex Desk: a shared desk from 9am to 6pm. Dedicated Desk: your own desk, a locker and 24/7 access.
How does access work?
Each member gets a personal, non-transferable code on the door app.
What do all plans include?
Electricity, water, internet, cleaning, access to common areas and to the community.
Can I change plan?
Yes, with 30 days' written notice. The change applies from the next renewal.
Virtual Office
Can I use the address as my registered office?
Yes. The Virtual Office works as your company's registered office and tax address, and you can use it on invoices, your website and official documents.
Can I incorporate a company with this address?
Yes. Choose "Not yet" and upload the certificate of admissibility. Once the contract is signed, use the My Desk address in the incorporation process.
Do you open my mail?
No. We only photograph the outside of the envelope to alert you. The contents are always yours.
Do you also receive parcels?
Yes. The contract includes receiving letters and small parcels on behalf of your company.
Can I use the meeting room?
Yes, on request. It is ideal for meeting clients or holding interviews in central Maia.
What happens if I end the contract?
The contract renews automatically and ends with one month's notice. After it ends we no longer receive mail for the company, so update your registered office first.
Do prices include VAT?
No VAT is charged. Prices are exempt under article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code.
Online sign-up
Which documents do I need?
Virtual Office: permanent certificate code, director's ID and proof of address, and RCBE proof. Flex Desk and Dedicated Desk: ID document and tax number.
Why so many documents for the Virtual Office?
Company domiciliation requires identifying the company, its directors and beneficial owners (Portuguese Law 83/2017).
How do I sign the contract?
Once your details are validated, we send the final contract for digital signature.
Are my documents safe?
We use documents only to validate the contract and meet legal obligations, as set out in the privacy policy.
